On December 8th, 2023, we celebrated the inauguration of the new batch at our community college, held at the Shanthibhavan Auditorium. The esteemed Sister. Myriam, a dedicated social worker from Germany, graced the occasion as the inaugural guest. Ms. Beena Sebastian, Chairperson of the Cultural Academy, delivered a compelling presidential address. Dr. Nisha Vikraman, a respected professor from St. Theresa’s College, extended felicitations during the event. Engaging sessions were conducted by Aura and Aick from Germany, fostering interaction with the enthusiastic participants.

The inauguration witnessed the presence of over 40 women who enthusiastically enrolled in various courses offered by the community college. Faculty members from different courses were also present, providing valuable instructions to the attendees. The community college’s mission revolves around empowering women through the provision of diverse professional certificate courses, all offered free of charge. Our ultimate goal is to contribute to the creation of a society where women can lead independent lives, fostering self-sustainability. Courses we provide this year are Baking and Confectioneries, Tailoring and Embroidery, Hospitality management and Geriatric care and support.
